Daily Planner (pdf)

This Daily Planner was devised as a helpful resource for people whilst in physical isolation due to COVID-19. It is however a handy tool to incorporate into your everyday living, as such I have attached a copy available here for download.

Each section designed to help you:

- Regulate your emotions during this time of unease.
- Retain a sense of routine at times of uncertainty or overwhelm (also shown to enhance serotonin and thus mood).
- Focus you attention on your achievements, however small.
- Promote boundaries within your day (particularly important during times of stress, high anxiety or when there is a reduction in variety, choice or external stimulation).
- Reminder of the importance of self care and looking after yourself.
- Focus your attentions on balancing mental and physical stimulation throughout the day.
- Focusing your energy on gratitude for what you do have in your life right now, rather than lack or separation.
- Maintaining your physical body through regular mealtimes, awareness of healthy eating, drinking and consuming vitamins, supplements and medication if necessary, alongside some form of physical activity/movement.
- Maintaining your mental health and mood through time outdoors, meditation, fun activities and self development.
- Ensuring you maintain social contact during times of physical separation and isolation, through daily communication with others.
- Having a future focus and conscious direction of where you want to direct your attentions to next - whether in the short term or longer term.

You are the expert on what works well for you so adapt as you see fit. I posted a video explaining each section as an Instagram TV post, you may find that useful to refer to.
